A little about you and why you LOVE working with couples, creating epic florals for their wedding day.
There is nothing quiet like those pre wedding butterflies, the excitement, the emotion and that enlightenment you get when you see your couples wedding dreams literally come to life. We have been working weddings for 11 years now and get the same feels for Every. Single. Wedding.
What are some of the creative ways flowers can be incorporated into a wedding day?
We love all wedding concepts however our wedding flower workshop is an experience like no other. I derived this concept when I got married 6 years ago. I have always loved teaching my craft, so had my bridesmaids over to make their own bouquets the night before our big day. Their excitement when walking down the aisle and how proud they were of what they had created was simply THE BEST and some of my favourite memories of the day were made. The relationships we now build with our bridal parties is so special. It that next level of personal detail, connection and an added moment of memory making that is unlike any other experience.
Tips for choosing colour pallets/flowers?
Choose a colour pallet that matches your personality. Your flowers are a true reflection of you and we try to make sure that our couples are able to express themselves. We find there are usually big changes in colour changes and choices every five years or so. It is important that you go with what you love and not just the current fads that you may find on social media. With the increase of filters, colours may not always be what they seem. A good florist should provide a realistic view of true form, shape and colour.
How far in advance should couples book a florist?
We find we are fully booked at least 12 months in advance.
If you have your date and you know who you want, contact your desired florist as soon as possible.
